ESCO operates an independent CFS facility at Laem Chabang Port and Lat Krabang ICD, occupying an area of 9,180 square meters. ESCO LCB also provides 45,600 square meters of container yard storage - equivalent to a storage capacity of 7,600 TEUs. At Lat Krabang ICD, ESCO offers 72,000 square meters of storage space that combines areas for storage, cleaning, repairing and reefer monitoring. Operating both the ICD module and the port terminal allows ESCO to provide seamless container movements.
The CFS is designed to handle FCL (full container load) and LCL (less than container load) cargoes that are transferred directly between the two locations, from ESCO's Laem Chabang terminal to destinations worldwide, or from foreign countries to ESCO's CFS facility.
Upon discharge from the vessel, FCLs are cleared through ESCO's container terminal and immediately transferred to the on-terminal CFS where containers are offloaded, goods de-stuffed where applicable, and customs procedures such as verification expedited.
The facility is enclosed with a parameter wall secured by fencing and rigid access control and equipped with surveillance cameras. The compound is floodlit with overhead halogen lamps and secured 24/7 by guards.
