The Company
It is often difficult to differentiate the services of one privately held terminal operator from another. Private sector entities have an obligation to their stakeholders, customers, employees and shareholders, and as a result all strive for efficiency. What sets ESCO apart, however, is its independence from any shipping line, allowing the company to treat every customer with impartiality. With no single carrier as a major shareholder, we are free to deal with customers on a first-come first-served basis, and can guarantee complete confidentiality as there are no controlling shipping lines that may have a vested interest in their competitor's cargo and movements.
The Policy
The continual satisfaction of ESCO customers is attributable not only to our state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and technology, but to our people. The ESCO team is committed achieving excellence by focusing on safety, reliability, punctuality and productivity in compliance with the requirements of our ISO 9001:2000 certification. With these principles uppermost in the minds of our management and staff, we are able to not only maintain a successful and strong ESCO, but contribute to the growth of our group, our country's economy, and our long list of customers whose expectations are invariably exceeded.

Our People
The world of terminal operations and container handling is a competitive place. As terminals around the world increasingly use the same cranes and equipment, it is clear that now, more than ever, it is people who make a difference and give a company the leading edge. ESCO has always recognized this and we know that our staff are adding value to every container we move every day. Therefore we strive to nurture this relationship by adding extra value to our staff through comprehensive training and development initiatives. We instill a sense of pride in achieving quality results. This means recruiting the best and brightest professionals and providing continuous support with the accompanying rewards for a job well done - which in turn keeps ESCO moving steadily toward its goal of ultimate efficiency.
